The monthly webinar of the International Testing Agency ITA in 2025 on 31 July (14-15 h CET) features the topic of mental health in sport with Camille Cheng, a three-time Olympic swimmer and seven-time Asian Games medallist from Hong Kong and an IOC Mental Health Ambassador.
A 2022 vulnerabilities report published by the World Anti-Doping Agency infers that athletes experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, or other mental health challenges may be more susceptible to doping as a way to cope with pressure, meet expectations, or achieve goals – especially if they lack healthy coping mechanisms.
Camille will share her experiences of mental health in relation to and beyond her sporting journey, providing valuable insights and advice for athletes and their support teams. There will also be an opportunity for a live Q&A.
The ITA webinars are delivered in English with simultaneous translation to Arabic (العربية), French (français), Russian (русский) and Spanish (español).
