Steven Seagal’s former ranch hits the market at $14.5 million

The 190-acre compound, located in Santa Barbara’s Santa Ynez Valley, represents a significant price increase from its last sale.

The former action star and model purchased the initial 90-acre estate for US$2.8 million in the early 1990s before adding an adjacent 100-acre parcel with a working vineyard for an additional US$1.8 million, according to MSN.

The couple sold the combined property in 1995 for US$3.8 million to Harold and Elizabeth Green of Arizona, just one year before finalising their divorce.

The current asking price is more than triple what the Greens paid for the estate.

Known as Rancho Arroyo Perdido, the property features a 5,000-square-foot hacienda-style main residence built in the 1950s, according to the listing.

The home includes three bedrooms, six bathrooms, a stone fireplace in the living room, and a rustic kitchen with dual islands and commercial-grade appliances.

The primary suite comes with a fireplace and a clawfoot tub, while the basement houses a wine cellar and tasting room.

The estate’s extensive outdoor amenities include a large pool and spa surrounded by oak trees, two separate guest houses, and substantial equestrian facilities.

The property boasts a 24,000-square-foot covered riding arena, five barns, and a breeding building with a laboratory.

The Greens utilised the property to breed and raise championship Arabian horses after purchasing it from the celebrity couple.

Marketing materials now highlight the estate’s versatility for equestrian operations, vineyard development, or commercial agriculture.

Agricultural features include 75 acres of workable farmland, six fenced pastures, a glass greenhouse, two ponds, private wells, and an irrigation system supporting crop development.

Seagal, who began his career as a martial arts instructor in Japan, gained fame through action films like “Above the Law” and “Under Siege.”

His various film roles have contributed to a combined global box office of over US$700 million.

LeBrock, known for her breakout role in “Weird Science,” was married to Seagal for nine years before their 1996 divorce.
