The 11th event of the LIV Golf League season gets started this week at LIV Golf UK by JCB. Serving as the host course once again is the challenging JCB Golf & Country Club in Rocester, England.

Here is who our experts like this week.

INDIVIDUAL
Bryson DeChambeau – There’s no denying Scottie Scheffler’s dominance at last week’s Open, even Bryson DeChambeau acknowledged as much afterward, but the Crushers GC captain put on a show of his own the final three days at Royal Portrush. After an opening 7-over 78 left him almost certain to miss the cut, Bryson came surging back (65-68-64) to finish T10. He rides the hot hand to victory at LIV Golf UK by JCB.
TEAM
Crushers GC – Bryson wont be a one-man band this week. His Crushers GC have three wins on the season and finished T3 at this course last year – just six shots off the pace – led by DeChambeau’s 10-under total on the weekend. Look out for a Crushers sweep.

INDIVIDUAL
Abraham Ancer – He’s quietly worked his way into the top 10 in points this season, thanks in large part to a couple of podium results (including his solo third in Spain two weeks ago). Last year at JCB, he opened with a 65 and was tied for second going into the weekend. He’s in form and would love to make a big push to end the season that might get him on the bonus-paying podium in the season-long points standings.
TEAM
Legion XIII – Hard to consider any other team but the defending UK champions. They have last year’s individual winner (Jon Rahm), a T2 finisher (Tyrrell Hatton) and the red-hot newcomer Tom McKibbin (top 5s in his last 2 starts; I almost picked him for the individual win). The only way they don’t win this week is if Hatton has more than three pints of Guinness after any round (check his comments from last week’s Open).

INDIVIDUAL
Tyrrell Hatton – I’m sticking with Hatton, who was my pick to win in Andalucia (T23) and who finished T16 at The Open, where he was firmly in the mix for most of the week at Royal Portrush. The Legion XIII star finished T2 at JCB Golf & Country Club last year, just one shot behind his captain, Jon Rahm. Hatton is fourth in greens in regulation and just outside the top 10 in putting average, which is a great combo for any layout.
TEAM
Fireballs GC – The hottest team to start the season (wins in three of the first four events) has since cooled down. But Sergio Garcia’s group finished second in the last LIV Golf event at Andalucia and is primed for success at this critical point of the schedule.

Dustin Johnson – Throughout the 2025 season, Dustin Johnson has gotten closer and closer to returning to winning form and has spoken about it on multiple occasions. At Valderrama, after a firing a second-round 64, Johnson said, “I feel like my game has been really good the last month and a half or so, just haven’t really seen the results that I feel like I should be shooting. Today it was nice to actually put together a really solid round. I feel like I’m swinging really good. I’ve got a lot of confidence in everything that I’m doing.”
The following week, the 4Aces GC captain had his best finish in a major (T23) since the 2022 Open Championship. Johnson has now gained strokes on approach in five consecutive starts, with his irons really heating up over the past three starts. He’s also seemingly found something with the putter. After switching putters multiple times this season, he’s found recent success with his trusty black TaylorMade Spider. After gaining strokes with the putter at Valderrama, the 41-year-old rolled it beautifully at Royal Portrush. Johnson ranked 3rd in Strokes Gained: Putting (+1.80 per round) for the week.
Johnson is rounding into form at the right time to finish strong for the closing stretch of the LIV Golf season. I think he gets in the winner’s circle at JCB.
TEAM
4Aces GC – 4Aces GC has been agonizingly close to getting their first team win since 2023. Over the past three LIV Golf events, the 4Aces have had the 36-hole lead in each of them, only to get run down by a hot Crushers GC or Legion XIII. Patrick Reed and Harold Varner III are steady contributors, and Thomas Pieters is my dark horse to contend this week. Combined with Johnson’s recent form, it’s time for the 4Aces to break the winless streak.
