Dare to Dream Season 2: Trailer released

World Triathlon is proud to announce the release of the first four episodes of the second season of Dare To Dream on Wednesday 6 August. The trailer is available now on our official YouTube channel

Entitled The Next Move, we follow the eight designated Hot Shot athletes for 2025 taking the next step in their careers, as they make the switch to long course and embark on their first year of T100 racing.

In episode one, released on World Triathlon YouTube and TriathlonLive on Wednesday 6 August at 8pm CEST, Britain’s Kate Waugh takes us on her journey from Olympic turmoil to T100 Singapore glory. A week later, episode two charts the return of GB’s Tokyo 2020 Mixed Relay Champion Jess Learmonth back to top-tier racing as a mother and after a near career-ending injury.

Episode three takes viewers on a ride with USA’s enigmatic Morgan Pearson to his T100 Vancouver showdown, and episode four follows Denmark’s rising star Laura Madsen, the only Hot Shot to have already made a T100 start in its first season, as she navigates her own return from injury to T100 London.

Episodes 5-8, featuring Leo Bergere, Vincent Luis, Taylor Spivey and Hayden Wilde will be released in the run up to the T100 Qatar Finals.

With over 1 million views across all platforms, season one captured all the tension and drama of the build up to last year’s Olympic Games, featuring the eventual champions Alex Yee and Cassandre Beaugrand, medallists Beth Potter and Hayden Wilde among a cast of triathlon’s biggest names.

Season two now reveals the motivations and emotions, as well as the uncertainties and ambitions, behind switching the road bike for the TT, upping the distances and exploring new pathways in this post-Olympic season. Season three, scheduled for 2026, will profile World Triathlon’s next crop of emerging young talent vying for qualification to the LA2028 Games.
