Airkey, a cleanroom manufacturer in China with over 20 years of experience, has been dedicated to upgrading, innovating and making modular cleanrooms in different sizes, configurations and industries, including pharmaceutical, medical device, semiconductor, lithium battery, biotechnology, aerospace, touch screen, and food industries, from ISO 4 to ISO 8, as small as 5 square meters to as big as over 1,500 square meters, to over 60 countries as far as Iceland. Today we will introduce some of Airkey’s cleanroom solutions for typical industries.
USP 797 modular cleanroom for pharmaceutical company in USA
USP <797>, a chapter in the United States Pharmacopeia (USP), sets the standards for compounding sterile preparations and provides guidelines for the preparation, handling, and storage of sterile compounded medications to minimize contamination risks. It even plays a more important role for pharmaceutical companies in the USA than GMP regulation.
Last month, Airkey built a modular cleanroom for a client in Georgia, USA who adheres to USP strictly. This ISO 7 modular cleanroom, though not very big—only 22 square meters—follows the USP standards. It has separate entrances for personnel and materials, with a PAL room (anteroom) for changing to cleanroom suits, and a MAL room together with a pass box for moving objects in and out of the modular cleanroom. The free-standing modular cleanroom is fabricated in the Airkey factory with American-type power outlets preinstalled, automatic sliding door pre-commissioned, and every component pre-handled.

Semiconductor modular cleanroom with modular HVAC system
In the same month, Airkey also made a modular cleanroom for a German client in the semiconductor industry. This modular cleanroom, not big as well, boasts high clean class and precise temperature and humidity control, which shows the stringent requirements for particulate control and environmental controls.
Apart from the high coverage of H14 HEPA filters that can capture dust and maintain ISO 6 clean class, the modular cleanroom is equipped with a modular HVAC system which is designed to maintain precise temperature and humidity levels in controlled environments. Airkey deploys a DX system that has faster response to load changes and lower installation cost, making it more energy-efficient for small-to-medium spaces. Besides, Airkey has CE certification for the modular HVAC system, making it an ideal choice for customers in Europe.

AK-LIGHT modular cleanroom for pharmaceutical company in Canada
In recent months, Airkey has also manufactured several other modular cleanrooms for the pharmaceutical industry, but in different types. The AK-LIGHT modular cleanroom Airkey made for a Canadian client adopts aluminum frames and acrylic wall panels, which are lightweight for installation and transparent for high clarity. This self-contained modular cleanroom supports fast installation at site, saving labor costs significantly.

AK-CASTLE modular cleanroom for pharmaceutical company in USA
Another type is the AK-CASTLE modular cleanroom we made for a pharmaceutical company in the USA. To adapt to the existing HVAC system, this flexible and expandable modular cleanroom applies 50 mm thick sandwich panels and glazed windows, which all have high thermal insulation performance. In addition, the cleanroom is equipped with air risers and duct collars for connection to the existing HVAC system, improving the operation and energy efficiency. This modular cleanroom has custom-made doors made of aluminum frame and tempered glass, clear and lightweight. American-type outlets are placed according to equipment arrangement. Covings are mounted to prevent dust accumulation, making cleaning easy.
