iQoo Z10 Turbo+ to launch with 8,000mAh battery and MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset

Back in April, iQoo introduced the performance-oriented Z10 Turbo series that included two models: the Z10 Turbo and the Z10 Turbo Pro. A key highlight of the series was the Z10 Turbo’s large 7,620mAh battery. Now, the Chinese company is preparing to launch the Z10 Turbo+, with an even larger battery.

On Weibo, the product manager for iQoo’s Z series has revealed the key highlights of the upcoming phone. It will come with an 8,000mAh battery capacity. For comparison, Redmi’s performance-oriented phone, the Turbo 4 Pro, features a 7,550mAh battery. Another recent launch, the Oppo K13 Turbo Pro, has a 7,000mAh battery. Hence, the jump to 8,000mAh capacity is a major highlight of the upcoming Z10 Turbo+.

Additionally, iQoo has confirmed that the phone features the Dimensity 9400+ chipset. It is MediaTek’s latest flagship SoC based on TSMC’s N3E process. According to NanoReview, the processor scores around 2.8 million points on the AnTuTu v10 benchmark. Other phones powered by the Dimensity 9400+ include the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra, the Redmi K80 Ultra, and the Vivo X200s.

The other specifications of the Z10 Turbo+ have not been confirmed yet. However, the phone may feature some similarities with the Z10 Turbo Pro. For context, the Z10 Turbo Pro featured a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels. It came with a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies, the phone utilized a 16MP front camera. The phone launched in China with a starting price of 1,999 yuan, equivalent to around 279 USD.
