The time has come for the Tour de France Femmes 2025, featuring 22 teams, 154 riders and more than 1,000 kilometres of pedal-to-the-metal racing, as the world’s best cyclists battle for the one and only: Maillot Jaune (yellow jersey).
With 17,240 metres of elevation gain awaiting cyclists, across nine action-packed days of racing from Saturday 26 July to Sunday 3 August, this year’s hunt for one of road cycling’s most coveted prizes is already shaping up to be a memorable one.
Add an entry list stacked with past winners, world champions and Olympic champions across multiple cycling disciplines, and you have yourself a summer blockbuster well worth the price of admission.
The question is: who will be the hero of this wheeled French saga? And better yet, who will they need to vanquish to stand alone atop the podium in Châtel Les Portes du Soleil?
While Olympics.com has yet to crack the secret to time travel, and is therefore unable to provide any concrete answers to those principal inquiries, we can, nonetheless, theorise as to which riders will be front and centre in the battle for the Maillot Jaune.
