“Call me superstitious, but I prefer to wait until tomorrow before saying that I have won the green jersey. This has been a big goal since the beginning of the year, both for me and for my team. I want the achievement to sink in slowly. These last few days have been beautiful for me. I have actually enjoyed them. As for tomorrow, how the stage will unfold is a big question mark. I’ll try to be in the mix and put out my best sprint if it comes down to a mass finish.”
