Hulk Hogan’s documentary project to move forward despite his passing

Hulk Hogan in middle of big project when he died

Hulk Hogan, the legendary professional wrestler, had been working on a documentary project for Netflix at the time of his death earlier this week.

The project, made in partnership with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), aims to chronicle Hogan’s storied life and career, both on and off screen.

According to sources associated with the project, over 20 hours of unseen sit-down interviews with Hogan have already been completed, and an additional 30 hours of scenes have been shot.

The documentary was being produced with Hogan’s full participation, and insiders claim that it will reveal a side of him that fans haven’t seen before. “People will see a side of him they haven’t seen before,” a source close to the project told CNN.

Despite Hogan’s unexpected passing, the documentary will still be released, although filmmakers will need to re-tool portions of it to incorporate his death.

Cameras will be on the ground at WWE Smackdown on Friday evening to capture a planned tribute to Hogan.

Hogan’s impact on the world of professional wrestling cannot be overstated. He is credited with turning the sport into an entertainment powerhouse, and his larger-than-life presence in the 1980s and 1990s propelled him to become a household name and global superstar.

His influence can still be seen today, with wrestlers like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and John Cena following in his footsteps and parlaying their fame in the ring into successful careers in Hollywood.

The documentary is being directed by Bryan Storkel and produced by Connor Schell’s studio, Words + Pictures, in collaboration with WWE.

Netflix has declined to provide further details on the documentary at this time.
