The summer transfer window is in full swing and after making six signings, here’s all you need to know about when the market will be closing.

The transfer window was initially split into two parts, with the first opening on Sunday, June 1 before it closed on Tuesday, June 10 allowing teams taking part in the Club World Cup to sign players before that tournament begins.

All Premier League clubs were still able to trade during that time.

The second part opened on Monday, June 16 and close at 7pm BST on Monday, September 1 for Premier League clubs.

Martin Zubimendi signs for Arsenal

Since the second window oepned, we have signed six first team players, with Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Norgaard, Noni Madueke, Cristhian Mosquera and Viktor Gyokeres all becoming Gunners.

The new Premier League campaign is set to begin on the weekend of Saturday, August 16.

Once the second part of the summer transfer window closes, clubs will not be able to buy or sell players again until Thursday, January 1, 2026.
