At the elevators, he shot a security guard, and another man in the lobby.
He then called an elevator, and when it came down to the lobby, he stood aside allowing a woman who was in the lift to “walk past unharmed,” according to NYPD Commissioner Tisch.

He then took his own life there, where his body was later found by officers.
