ISLAMABAD, Jul 29 (APP):Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Tuesday released 366,400 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 411,100 cusecs.
According to the data released by IRSA, the water level in River Indus at Tarbela Dam was 1537.00 feet which was 135.00 feet higher than the dead level of 1402.00 feet. Water inflow and outflow in the dam was recorded as 285,800 cusecs and 257,700 cusecs, respectively.
The water level in River Jhelum at Mangla Dam was 1198.75 feet, which was 148.75 feet higher than its dead level of 1,050 feet. The inflow and outflow of water was recorded 23,600 cusecs and 7,000 cusecs, respectively.
The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa, Guddu and Sukkur was recorded as 292,500, 320,400, 387,100 and 300,900 cusecs, respectively. Similarly, from River Kabul, a total of 33,700 cusecs of water released at Nowshera and 42,000 cusecs released from River Chenab at Marala.
