Pakistan has rejected the Indian home minister’s remarks linking militants killed in Kashmir to the country, calling them “fabrications,” as tensions between the South Asian rivals remain high.
“The account given by the Indian Home Minister is replete with fabrications, leading to serious questions about its credibility,” Pakistan’s Foreign Affairs Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday. The remark is in response to Amit Shah’s address in India’s lower house of Parliament on Tuesday, where he said security forces had killed the militants behind April’s deadly Kashmir attacks and recovered evidence, including voter IDs, linking them to Pakistan.
