Taylor Kitsch Plays CIA Agent in ‘Terminal List: Dark Wolf’ Trailer

Taylor Kitsch‘s origin story for Ben Edwards goes from Navy SEAL to becoming a CIA Special Operations agent in the trailer for Prime Video’s The Terminal List: Dark Wolf.

Chris Pratt reprises his role as James Reece in the prequel that also stars Tom Hooper, Luke Hemsworth, Robert Wisdom and Dar Salim. Rona-Lee Shimon, Shiraz Tzarfati and Jared Shaw. “Men like us — protectors, defenders, sentinels — you’re either in the fight, or you’re thinking about,” Wisdom as Jed Haverford explains at one point in the trailer.

The prequel is co-created by The Terminal List author Jack Carr, who is also a former Navy SEAL, and season one showrunner David DiGilio. As an espionage thriller, the series explores the darker side of warfare through the actions of muscular CIA operatives.

The first three episodes of Dark Wolf will premiere on Aug. 27 Prime Video in over 240 countries worldwide, with new episodes to stream weekly until a Sept. 24 season finale.

Dark Wolf is executive produced by Kitsch, Pratt, DiGilio, Carr, Antoine Fuqua, Kat Samick, Max Adams, Jared Shaw, and pilot director Frederick E.O. Toye.

The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, MRC and Civic Center Media. The Terminal List original series centered on James Reece (Pratt) after his entire platoon of Navy SEALs was ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission.

Reece returned home to his family with conflicting memories of the event and was questioned about his culpability. However, as new evidence came to light, Reece discovered dark forces working against him, endangering not only his life but the lives of those he loves.

The original The Terminal List thriller also starred Constance Wu, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Kitsch, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Riley Keough and Jai Courtney.

The Terminal List on Amazon was a co-production between Amazon Studios and Civic Center Media, in association with MRC Television.
