Across the nine days of netball competition at the event, 12 teams will compete, with the next World Netball (WN) World Rankings update taking place in September confirming those that will be invited to compete.
Speaking on the news, WN CEO, Fiona Harold said: “This is another hugely exciting milestone in our journey towards our biggest multi-sport event in the netball calendar, the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.
“At the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games the netball programme proved to be extremely popular in terms of both ticket sales and broadcast reach, as our teams put on a true world-class spectacle for the world to enjoy, captivating both existing and new fans globally – I have no doubt we will see more of the same at Glasgow 2026.”
