No one tells stories like you: Suhana Khan on father SRK winning National Award

Suhana Khan penned a heartwarming note for her father Shah Rukh Khan after he was honoured with his first-ever National Award in his 33-year-long career. The superstar won the Best Actor award for his performance in Atlee’s blockbuster ‘Jawan’.
Suhana, who made her acting debut with ‘The Archies’, took to Instagram to share her pride, writing, “From bedtime stories to stories that leave a mark, no one tells them like you. Congratulations, love you the most @iamsrk.” She also shared a black-and-white throwback picture of herself as a child, cradled in her father’s arms — a moment fans couldn’t stop gushing over.

Several celebs reacted to her emotional post. Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday dropped red heart emojis, while Shanaya Kapoor commented, “Best.”

Meanwhile, Gauri Khan also celebrated the big moment, congratulating her “three absolute favourites” — Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, and Karan Johar — on their National Award wins. While SRK bagged the top acting honour for ‘Jawan’, Rani Mukerji won Best Actress for her role in ‘Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway’. Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, was recognised as the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.

“Three of my absolute favourites just WON big… and so did our hearts. When talent meets goodness, magic happens — so proud, and so ready to brag about them forever!” Gauri wrote, alongside rare photos of the trio.

Reacting to the honour, Shah Rukh Khan said in a video, “A National Award is not just about achievement. It’s a reminder that what I do matters. It tells me to keep going, keep working hard, keep creating, and keep serving cinema. In a world full of noise, to be heard — truly heard — is a blessing.”
