Jamaican athletics star Alana Reid is eyeing a perfect send-off at the 2025 Junior Pan American Games in Asunción, Paraguay, where she hopes to cap her junior career with another standout performance.
The 20-year-old, a two-time world champion in the 100m and 4x100m relay from Lima 2024, already boasts a remarkable resume. A former World U20 bronze medallist, Reid competed at the Paris 2024 Olympics as part of Jamaica’s relay squad, and holds the national U20 record with a blazing 10.92s.
Now, she’s ready for her next challenge. “I want to show everyone my talent at ASU2025,” Reid told Panam Sports.
“It’s my last junior competition, and I want to make it count.”
