Welcome to our regular post-race round-up, a final look at the action, where we’ll break down the best and the bonkers of F1 from across the weekend. From our favourite photos to the slickest fits we spotted, plus all the behind-the-scenes goodness you might have missed.
In the final race before the summer break, Lando and Oscar continued our 1-2 streak, finishing first and second for the fourth race in a row, capping off a sensational first half of the year, as we head into the two-week break with a near 300-point lead over second place in the Constructors’ Championship.
There were plenty of reasons to smile, as Hungary delivered an exciting Grand Prix, in which we chalked up our 200th Grand Prix win in Formula 1. Here, we’ll look back over the weekend and highlight some of our favourite moments.

Joining an exclusive club
What else could it be? Lando’s fifth win of the year was McLaren’s 200th overall, meaning we join an exclusive club, as only the second team to chalk up a double century of Grand Prix wins in Formula 1.
Twenty-two drivers have won for McLaren across 59 seasons in the sport, including some of the biggest names, from our founder Bruce McLaren himself to our seven World Champions, Emerson Fittipaldi, James Hunt, Niki Lauda, Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna, Mika Häkkinen, and Lewis Hamilton.
With Oscar finishing in second, it was also our fifth 1-2 of the season, and our fourth in a row – a feat we last achieved in 1988 with Prost and Senna.
