KLM and Pilots Reach Preliminary Agreement for a Stronger Future

Pilot union VNV and KLM have reached a comprehensive preliminary agreement. The arrangements made will enable KLM to staff pilot positions adequately, increase revenue, and thereby strengthen its financial position. It is expected that over 10,000 additional flights can be operated, allowing millions more passengers to reach their destinations. Under the agreement, pilots will work one extra day per month during the summer season of 2026. Additionally, KLM will be allowed to schedule pilots to work one extra day per quarter during their weekends.
