Anhui Haichuang New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. has planned a new project in Wuhu Economic and Technological Development Zone, Anhui Province, to produce 500,000 tonnes of high-performance lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cathode materials project for new energy batteries. The project will be implemented in phases, with Phase I (including supporting facilities and a 110 kV substation) achieving both commencement and production within the same year in 2024 with an annual capacity of 50,000 tonnes of LFP cathode materials.
Additionally, the company has established a 200,000-tonne anode material project in Leshan City, Sichuan Province. Meanwhile, the first phase including 50,000 tonnes, is currently in peak construction and is scheduled for production this year. In Wuhu Hi-Tech Zone, it also registered Anhui Haichuang Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. to invest in a 15,000-tonne retired lithium battery recycling project, serving as its operational and developmental platform for battery recycling. Through the expansion, the company aims to achieve a total recycling capacity of 1 million tonnes annually.
Established on September 29, 2021, and headquartered in Wuhu City, Anhui Province, Anhui Haichuang New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. is wholly owned by Anhui Haichuang New-Type Energy-Saving Building Materials Co., Ltd.
