Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane looking forward to reunion with former club Tottenham Hotspur (It has been two years since Kane made the move to Germany).
Bayern Munich got through Olympique Lyonnais by a 2-1 scoreline at the weekend, with Tottenham Hotspur the next club that will travel to the home of the Germans. Harry Kane, who spent a good chunk of his career with the Lilywhites, is anticipating the moment that he will share the pitch with his former teammates.
“Looking forward to the game against Tottenham on Thursday”, Kane said to his Cleats Club channel (via Goal). “Always special to play against them no matter what type of game it is. We’ll look forward to seeing a few old faces there as well. Back at the Allianz in front of the fans as well. Appreciate the support and see you guys soon.”
Kane and his Bayern teammates aim to improve on their previous season by doing better in the Champions League and DFB-Pokal. Bayern will host Tottenham at the Allianz on August 7th, before playing VfB Stuttgart in the Franz Beckenbauer Supercup next week.
Bayern Munich clearly wants the player, but has a cost threshold in mind that it does not want to exceed. Will the Bavarians re-think their hardline strategy?
