What to watch this weekend: Everything new on streaming

As of Aug. 6, a Wednesday of course, the first part of Season 2 of “Wednesday” is streaming on Netflix, ready to turn your late summer dark and full of woe. Along with the much-anticipated revival of “King of the Hill” on Hulu, it’s part of a big week in new streaming TV ready to usher you into a relaxing weekend.

It seems like there are endless choices on streaming, but at least for the weekend of Aug. 7-10, we think it won’t be too difficult to find something worth digging into. Here is everything new on streaming this week and weekend, with some of our favorites highlighted for your queues.
