ASA Microfinance Bank Appoints Ahmed Naazer Minhaj As President, CEO

Ahmed Naazer Minhaj has been appointed as President & CEO of ASA Microfinance Bank by the board of directors of the bank. He replaced Saeed Uddin Khan and moved from the Habib Bank Limited.

Minhaj brings over 25 years of distinguished leadership experience across diverse industries and in key roles at multinational & local institutions.

Before joining ASA Microfinance Bank, Minhaj most recently served at Habib Bank Ltd., where he led the Agriculture Banking Division. There, he played a critical role in driving lending strategies to support one of Pakistan’s most vital economic sectors, both at a bank level and across the industry, underscoring his commitment to inclusive growth and economic empowerment.

His appointment is expected to continue in ASA Microfinance Bank’s ongoing journey to expand financial inclusion and promote sustainable development. Under his leadership, the bank is expected to continue to strengthen its mission of empowering low-income families and micro-entrepreneurs across Pakistan by providing accessible, affordable, and responsible financial solutions.

ASA Microfinance Bank (Pakistan) Limited commenced its operations in 2023 as the 12th Microfinance Bank (MFB) to operate in the country.
