Academy Award nominee Jesse Eisenberg has shared some rare insights about the much-awaited Now You See Me sequel.
Directed by Ruben Fleischer, the new crime thriller film will reunite Jesse with Dave Franco, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Mark Ruffalo, and Lizzy Caplan.
Meanwhile, the third installment is going to introduce some new generation of illusionists along with the old actors.
While talking about Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, the 41-year-old revealed that a third film was always on the cards, but they just didn’t know when and where it would happen.
“When we realized we could make the movie, and the storyline would include these younger magicians, it all seemed like the perfect way into another film for the franchise”, he told Collider.
He further addressed the inclusion of new magicians saying that “It kind of shows where we are in life since the last film.”
According to The Social Network actor, the new entry will bring in a unique change in the tone of the franchise.
On a personal level, Jesse feels like a treat to be able to come back with his old castmates who loves so much. He feels happy to “get to hang out with them in the weirdest of circumstances.”
Now You See Me 3 is slated to hit theatres globally on November 14, 2025.
