International video game peripherals company Razer announced this week that it has renewed its strategic partnership with North American esports organization Sentinels.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Razer said in its announcement that it renewed its deal with the organization as part of its “commitment to supporting top-tier esports talent and delivering performance-driven gear that empowers players to compete at the highest level, while celebrating the culture and creativity that define modern gaming.”
Under the terms of the renewed deal, Sentinels will promote the Razer brand and its line of gaming peripherals in video content, exclusive product drops and activations, through social media, on jerseys, and more. For its part, Razer will supply Sentinels’ Apex Legends, Valorant, Halo, and StarCraft II players with its latest line of gaming controllers, mice, headsets, and more, for competitive and casual play.
Since the launch of its partnership, Razer and Sentinels have released a series of co-branded peripherals such as the Viper V3 Pro – Sentinels Edition and the Razer Iskur V2. Plans for future collaborations are in the works and to be announced at a later date. To celebrate the renewed deal, Razer has released a limited-edition custom Sentinels faceplate for the recently released Razer BlackShark V3 Pro, Razer’s flagship esports headset. Fans can purchase the BlackShark V3 Pro with Sentinels branded faceplate exclusively at sentinels.gg.
“Razer’s been with us through some of our biggest moments, and our fans know what to expect when we team up,” said Rob Moore, CEO at Sentinels. “This renewed partnership is about continuing to deliver gear that elevates the experience for our players and community.”
Razer is one of the most endemic gaming brands involved in esports, supporting such organizations as LA Thieves, Gentle Mates, Hanwha Life Esports, Mandatory, Movistar KOI, OpTic, Shopify Rebellion, Talon Esports, Team Flash, and many more. The company also supports some of the top players and personalities in esports/gaming including Faker, ZELLSIS, Niko, SNIP3DOWN, and Shotzzy, among others.
Sentinels currently fields a top-performing North American Valorant roster, along with Apex Legends, Marvel Rivals, and Halo teams, and several StarCraft pros. Along with Razer, the company currently has sponsorship deals with ZOWIE, Starforge Systems, and Red Bull.
