RIGA (Latvia) – Latvia claimed their first win of FIBA EuroBasket preparations after overcoming a red-hot start from Luka Doncic and Slovenia.
The hosts trailed 31-21 early on, but produced an impressive response in the third quarter on their way to recording a convincing 100-88 victory.
Doncic fired in 26 first-half points in just 17 minutes on his return to action after missing the defeat to Lithuania, but sat out most of the second half after suffering an injury scare.
