Holy Huda, the trailer for the long-awaited Love Island USA reunion has arrived.
The footage from the Islanders coming back together features the glammed-up contestants struggling to maintain their composure as Andy Cohen and Ariana Madix grill them about the choices they made in the game and since the July season finale.
The trailer (below) shows Madix asking if Jeremiah and Belle-a have become an item and Chris admitting he had “a lapse in judgement” amid “a night of alleged cheating,” as well as saying he doesn’t respect what Huda has said about him in the press (she has claimed Chris pressured her to break things off). There’s also Hannah (who was rather unfairly voted out) sobbing, Ace getting defensive after being called a “scammer” and Olandria holding back tears. In addition, Madix teases the airing of a previously unseen and extended version of the heart-rate challenge make-out session which kicked off considerable drama in the Villa.
Cohen has said the reunion was a marathon filming session and the result is “good.” He also stated that “everybody” would be at the reunion, but Cierra has stated she will not be attending after producers removed her midway through the season due to an offensive social media post.
The seventh season of Love Island USA finally seemed to deliver stateside the level of cultural impact that the original U.K. version has enjoyed for years. The show was Peacock‘s most-watched original season of all time and its finale week topped the U.S. streaming charts. The series also ranked as the top reality streaming show for six consecutive weeks.
The Love Island USA Reunion Special airs on Peacock on Monday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m. PT.
