Yogesh Joshi will face New Zealand’s Hector McNeilly in the U18 men’s compound semi-finals, while the women’s U18 compound semis will be an all-Indian showdown between Prithika Pradeep and Surya Hamsini Madala.

In the women’s U21 compound draw, Chikitha Taniparthi takes on Paula Diaz Morillas of Mexico in the top four. Meanwhile, Sharvari Somnath Shende will meet South Korea’s Kim Minjeong in the U18 women’s recurve semi-final.

The World Archery Youth Championships 2025 is the 19th edition of the biennial meet that has been held since 1991. A total of 570 top youth archers from 63 countries around the world are vying for medals in Winnipeg.

India dominated the previous edition held in Limerick, Ireland, two years back, claiming six golds, including three in individual events, and finishing with the highest overall medal tally of 11.
