Kylie Jenner is putting her sartorial stamp of approval on a divisive Y2K trend that’s been making its way back into the street style stratosphere, thanks to fans like Megan Thee Stallion, Jennifer Lopez, Alix Earle, and Jenner’s boyfriend Timothée Chalamet. Just days after the beauty powerhouse was spotted reuniting with the Dune 2 actor in Budapest, Hungary, Jenner ditched her bra while modeling a pair of ultra low-rise True Religion jeans—and so many 2000s-era trends—on Friday, August 22.
Jenner brought back the belfie as she gave her 392 million Instagram followers a cheeky look at her form-fitting jeans on her Story. Posing from behind, the Khy founder pulled down her belt loop while showing off the pink stitching on her jean pockets. In a second photo, Kylie faced the front while modeling the low-rise cut and subtle distressing of her denim. Completing the Noughties transformation, the 28-year-old star wore her dark hair in a voluminous side-parted style and showed off a pair of black flip-flops. She paired the Millennial-approved look with a cropped white tank top, which she wore without a bra. A large black leather handbag, French tip nails, and aviator-style wraparound sunglasses finished off her look. Kylie leaned into her signature glam with subtle smoky eyes and a matte mauve pout.

Jenner’s boyfriend Timothée Chalamet is also a big fan of the Noughties-loved brand, stepping out in Paris back in January wearing a pair of low-slung True Religion jeans, an NFL Raiders jacket, and a wee-sized quilted denim Chanel purse that fans were quick to speculate came from Kylie’s daughter Stormy’s large collection of tiny designer purses.

It’s unknown whether Jenner’s latest photos were taken in Budapest, but the star quickly put breakup rumors to rest on Tuesday when she was spotted enjoying a coffee date with Chalamet in Hungary’s capital city. Speculation began when the A Complete Unknown actor was unable to make his girlfriend’s 28th birthday party due to Dune 2 filming conflicts, but a source told Us Weekly that Chalamet still made the milestone feel “special” from afar.
“Timothée went out of his way to make her feel special on her birthday. He sent gifts, they had a FaceTime call, and he coordinated meaningful gestures with Kylie’s friends that made her feel very special,” the source shared.
