“Hi y’all. Tonight’s show was so fun, but someone grabbed my ass during [the] meet-and-greet before the show,” Morris wrote on her Stories Friday.

She added that while the experience was upsetting, she doesn’t plan to let it stop her from connecting with fans.

“I’m going to continue them because one person shouldn’t ruin it for everyone, but please know I’m there to connect, share, hug, all the things but please don’t override someone’s personal space. love you.”

Despite the incident, Morris carried on with the evening and shared a behind-the-scenes vlog showing her smiling, chatting, and signing autographs with fans before taking the stage.

She later posted photos from the concert, where she performed in a striking black feathered dress.

“thank you for a beautiful garden venue, a perfect sunset and for selling the damn show out,” she captioned the images. “we can’t wait to come back.”

The Grammy-winning artist launched her Dreamsicle tour on May 30 following the release of her new album of the same name.

Speaking to The Cut earlier this year, Morris explained that the record was shaped by the emotions she experienced after her 2023 split from Ryan Hurd, her husband of five years.

“I’m not documenting what happened during the relationship. I’m documenting the grief, anger, and sadness that follows, and the vulnerability of putting yourself back out there again … of reconnecting with your female friends and yourself,” she said.

Even as she works through personal challenges, Morris has made it clear she’s determined to stay present for her fans and continue building moments of connection through her music.
