Honor Magic V Flip 2 Jimmy Choo edition in for review

Today we have the brand new Honor Magic V Flip 2 in for review, and it comes in this special finish, done in collaboration with renowned fashion designer, Prof.Jimmy Choo Yeang Keat OBE.

The phone is currently exclusive to China, where it ships with an 80W charger and a USB-A to USB-C cable.

It also comes with two two-piece cases for the phone – the one on the left is a purple-tinted, half-transparent one, while the case on the right has a sparkly finish but is fully transparent.

The Jimmy Choo special edition features a subtle crystal shimmer, evoking “crushed stardust scattered across a deep blue sea.”

The phone’s exterior features a matte finish and has a very subtle texture that you can feel when running your nails over it. The phone has a matching UI theme.

Underneath all the shimmering, the phone itself is almost as high-tech as can be. Its only letdown is the use of the year-old Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, still a capable SoC, just not the latest one.

You get properly bright and fast displays on both sides, a carbon-silicon 5,500mAh battery with good charging – 80W wired and 50W wireless – and good cameras, especially the 200MP f/1.9 main camera.
