Where’s the display crease? Galaxy Z Flip 7 appears in leaked hands-on video

Samsung’s new foldable phones will go official on 9 July. Just a few days ahead of their announcement, a hands-on video of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 was leaked, showcasing both its screens. The phone looks quite slim, but the real surprise is its foldable display’s crease, which appears non-existent.

Foldable phones look futuristic except for the crease that appears on their foldable screen. Over the past few years, though, smartphone brands have improved the structure of the hinge and the display panel to reduce the visibility of the crease. However, Chinese firms have been more successful than Samsung in this regard.

The leaked video showcases the Galaxy Z Flip 7’s cover and foldable screens, and we are surprised to notice that there doesn’t appear to be any crease on its main display. Usually, a foldable display’s crease isn’t prominently visible when the phone is brand new and becomes slightly more visible after some days of use. Even considering that, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 seems promising.

Samsung seems to have finally worked on decreasing the crease visibility of its foldable phones. The Galaxy Z Flip 7’s display crease is now on par, if not better, than rivaling foldable phones from Chinese brands. This should definitely improve Samsung’s image in terms of technological prowess.

Besides its bigger cover screen, the upcoming foldable also has a more powerful processor, a bigger battery, and newer software. You can ready more about those aspects of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 here.
