Spain’s Under-21 team beat Cyprus 3-0 in their first qualifying match for the 2027 European Championship. Gonzalo, making his debut for the Under-21s, played the full 90 minutes, was very incisive in attack and came close to scoring.
In a match in which academy graduate Fran González also started, Spain won convincingly in Soria thanks to goals from Obrador (46′), Yarek (74′) and Pablo (85′).
