Andersen has hired Jesús Mardomingo, from Dentons, as a new partner in the Financial M&A area. The lawyer has more than 35 years of experience advising public and private, national and international financial institutions, as well as various administrations and governments in banking and finance, M&A and corporate law.

Jesús Mardomingo
Throughout his career, Mardomingo has actively participated as legal advisor in the restructuring process of the Spanish financial sector, collaborating in key projects such as the creation of Sareb or the transformation of savings banks into foundations, becoming general secretary, among other companies, of the extinct Caja Madrid. He has also been involved in the launching of the first online banks in Spain and has assisted foreign fund managers in the elimination of tax levies.
In the field of collective investment, he has advised on the launch of the first hedge fund registered in Spain, the first real estate investment funds or the first fund with 100% exposure to crypto-assets. Likewise, in the wealth management sector, he is a specialist in the advice and design of financial and tax structures and mechanisms.
A graduate in Law from the Complutense University, Jesús Mardomingo completed his training with a Master’s degree in Legal Consultancy for Construction and Real Estate Companies from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Prior to joining Andersen, he worked at Dentons as a financial and banking partner and at Cuatrecasas. He is also a regular contributor to the media and maintains an intense teaching and speaking activity in seminars and conferences.
