OKARA – Okara District Police Officer (DPO) Rashid Hidayat on Friday held an open court in Azhar Residence area of Police Station B-Division, which was attended by a large number of citizens, traders, journalists and civil society members. DPO Rashid Hidayat listened to the problems of the citizens one by one and issued on the spot orders to the concerned officers to address their grievances.
The DPO also issued instructions to the In-charge complaint cell to keep follow up on all complaints received during the open court. On this occasion, DPO Rashid Hidayat said that the aim of holding open courts was to ensure the provision of justice by reaching the doorstep of the people, According to the police spokesperson, citizens presented various complaints during the session, upon which the DPO issued directions to the concerned officers for immediate redressal. The DPO said that timely resolution of public grievances and provision of justice at the citizens’ doorstep was his top priority.
