Blonde bob, be gone! Actor Carrie Coon now has a much shorter haircut, which she unveiled at the 2025 Emmy Awards on Sunday night. Coon, nominated for best supporting actress in a drama series this year for her role as Laurie Duffy in The White Lotus, also graced our screens as Bertha Russell in The Gilded Age.
On The White Lotus, Coon was known as one-third of the “Blonde Blob.” Her curly, chin-skimming bob (which grew in the Thailand humidity) was one of the haircuts of the season—but apparently, she’s leaving that look in the rearview mirror. Now, she’s rocking baby bangs in a shade of bleached, icy blonde. It’s not yet known if she’s done it for fun or for a role.
Coon isn’t the first person to unveil a hair transformation on the red carpet—but she does join a special club with fellow actor Emma Stone, who revealed her own pixie earlier this year at the 2025 Golden Globes.
