Cordell Tinch claimed gold in the men’s 110m hurdles at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, Japan on Tuesday 16 September.
The 25-year-old came home in 12.99 seconds to win a thrilling final, with Orlando Bennett taking silver (13.08) and his compatriot Tyler Mason securing bronze (13.12).
Tinch’s victory also saw him break the six-year reign of Grant Holloway, who won the last three world titles but failed to qualify for the gold medal race after coming sixth in his semi-final.
