Apparel and footwear launches
These Hoka recovery sneakers are slip-ons with a stretchy sock-like upper and a tongue-pull tab, making them easy to put on and take off. The foot frame cradles your arches, the midsole is stacked with plush, supportive foam and the outsole is made from rubber. The shoes, which come in men’s and women’s sizes, earned the American Podiatric Medical Association’s Sea of Acceptance.

On designed its Cloudboom Max sneaker for beginner marathoners with between a 4:00 to 4:30 hour finish time. It has more support compared to On’s super shoes for elite runners, and more high-energy-return foam. The sneaker’s upper is made from breathable mesh, and its midsole plate is infused with glass fiber, which keeps marathoners comfortable throughout multiple hours of running, especially if they’re heel strikers, according to the brand. You can buy the Cloudboom Max in mens’s and women’s sizes.

Lululemon’s Define Collection stems from the success of its first Define Jacket. It includes three pieces: a track jacket, a track pant and a wide-leg pant. They all have relaxed silhouettes and oversized fits, and are made from a soft, stretchy cotton fabric that’s sweat-wicking, according to the brand.

Apple’s latest AirPods Pro 3 have major improvements over the previous AirPods Pro 2, which were already one of our favorite wireless earbuds. The buds have better battery life, better IP57 dust and waterproofing, and two times stronger automated noise cancelling, according to Apple. They have heart rate sensors built-in, so you can now track your workout heart rate and calories burned with just your iPhone and AirPods Pro 3 — no Apple Watch needed.

Apple also announced three new Apple watches: the Series 11, Ultra 3 and SE 3. All have new and interesting features, but the most notable for me is battery life: the Apple Watch Series 11 gets up to 24 hours of battery life (up from 18). Battery life has been my main criticism of the Apple Watch: it’s good to see this 33% increase. There’s also new health features like sleep scores and hypertension alerts.

Apple released the latest iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro, but it also launched a brand new Air series phone, the iPhone 17 Air. Think about it like a MacBook Air: it’s slim, sleek, lightweight and less powerful (but less expensive) than the Pro model devices. It’s 5.6 millimeters, the thinnest of any iPhone by far — the iPhone 16, by comparison, is 7.8 millimeters. Like the Pro phones, it has a fast, responsive screen and new ceramic shield on the rear for added durability, according to Apple.

Glossier’s Cloud Paint Plush Blush is a lightweight, noncomedogenic powder formula that leaves behind a soft, matte, flush look. It comes in 10 shades, including purples, reds and pinks. The blush gives you buildable coverage, so the more layers you add, the more vibrant the color is. It lasts for up to eight hours and it’s water-, sweat-, humidity- and transfer-resistant, according to Glossier.
NBC Select reporter Zoe Malin has been wearing Cloud Paint Plush Blush, which is safe for all skin types, for about two weeks. Her favorite shade is Beam, a peachy color. “I only need a light layer of the blush to give my cheeks enough color for a simple, clean, every day look,” she says. “I don’t feel the powder on my skin at all, and it takes away shininess, too.”

Glow Recipe says it formulated this serum to be a vegan alternative to snail mucin with similar results. It hydrates skin and supports the skin barrier and relies on ingredients like peptides, ectoin and a fermented yeast extract to brighten skin tone, improve skin texture, support collagen production and soothe irritation, according to the brand.

Pattern is known for its curly hair products, and now the brand is expanding into skin care with five products for the body: a scrub, wash, oil, lotion and cream. Everything in the collection is infused with the brand’s signature scent, which has notes of amber, musk, bergamot, citrus and florals. The products, which the brand says you can incorporate into your daily routine, are made with ingredients like seed and nut oils, butters, aloe vera, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E and hyaluronic acid.

This hair oil covers all your bases — it tames frizz, adds shine, strengthens damaged strands and acts as a heat protectant up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, according to the brand. It’s made with baobab, rice, grapeseed and jojoba oils, as well as goji berry and a moisturizing bonding complex. R+Co designed the product for all hair types and textures, and says it works best when you apply a small amount from the mid-lengths to ends of your damp or dry hair. The paraben-free oil is fragranced with notes of bergamot, wild fig, lotus flower and cedarwood.

Moroccanoil’s Treatment Mist is a sprayable version of its bestselling oil, making it great for those who love the original product but don’t like getting it all over their hands during application. The lightweight oil spray makes hair shiny through ingredients like argan oil and linseed extract, as well as hydrates and smooths strands to make them less frizzy, according to the brand. Moroccanoil says it can speed up blow-dry time, too. The mist leaves behind a soft texture and glossy look, plus it has the brand’s signature musky amber and floral scent. You can use it on all hair types, wet or dry.

You can use the three faux-leather bags part of this collection every day, for work or while you’re traveling. The Haven Laptop Bucket Bag and Haven Laptop Tote Bag (the latter of which is available in 15-inch and 16-inch sizes) come with removable laptop cases, and they have interior organization pockets, luggage trolley sleeves and removable shoulder slaps. The Haven Mini Crossbody Bag is the smallest of the three bags. It only fits your essentials, like a phone, sunglasses and lip balm, and comes with a removable shoulder strap.

Pack this pint-sized steamer in your bag while traveling to revive wrinkled clothes, no ironing board necessary. It uses dry steam and a heated front plate to smooth and sanitize fabric without soaking it, and you can choose from continuous or on-demand modes. The steamer has a rotating head, comes with a heat-protective pouch that doubles as a steam glove and is designed with a built-in descaling system. Once you turn it on, the steamer is ready to use in 18 seconds, according to the brand.

Shark released its TurboBlade fan earlier this year, and since it’s been so popular with customers, the brand created a new version with added heat component. It has three heater modes and 10 fan speed settings, and its body pivots, twists and oscillates to cover your whole room. You can adjust the appliance’s heat temperature, fan speed and oscillation using the included magnetic remote, or the buttons on its base. There’s also a filter that traps dust, which you can easily remove to wipe clean.

Take your at-home coffee game to the next level with De’Longhi’s electric milk frother, which consistently makes velvety-smooth hot and cold foam in seconds, according to the brand. There’s separate settings for dairy and plant-based milk, and the appliance can steam milk, too. It has a stainless steel exterior with an ergonomic handle and a nonstick interior, as well as a removable whisk and lid for easy clean-up. The milk frother comes with a measuring cup, and it has a pointed spout to help you pour the foam into cups or make latte art.

Roomba’s newest 2-in-1 mop and vacuum is its most advanced model yet, according to the brand. It continuously washes your floors while suctioning up debris, and there’s protective mop covers that automatically activate when the device detects carpets so they don’t get wet. The Roomba also uses AI technology to map your home and sense obstacles so it can navigate around them. The appliance comes with a dock that stores up to 75 days of dirt, according to the brand, and it washes and dries the mop parts. It connects to the Roomba Home app and smart assistants like Amazon Alexa, too.

Fitness and outdoor launches

The original Wahoo Kickr Core launched in 2018, and it’s regarded as one of the most enduring indoor smart trainers. This new version doesn’t reinvent the wheel (literally, the flywheel is largely unchanged), but has a few small improvements. It now has Wi-Fi connectivity, which lets the unit connect to more accessories and transmit data faster in certain apps. The unit has multi-color indicator lights that can help diagnose issues more quickly. And assembly is easier, with color-coated legs and instructors for using the included axle adapters with your bike.

Polar is a health and fitness brand that helped pioneer wireless heart rate sensors. This screenless fitness tracker looks akin to something like a Whoop band, only without a recurring subscription. It can automatically track your health, exercise and sleep data, according to the brand. It comes in three colors, and gets up to eight days of battery life.
