ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is leaving for Riyadh today on a two-day official visit to Saudi Arabia.
Official sources confirmed that during the visit, the prime minister would meet Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman at the Royal Place in Riyadh on Wednesday.
DPM/ FM Ishar Dar and other top government officials would accompany the prime minister during the meeting.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is also expected to perform Umra in Makkah. Bilateral matters and is-sues related to Muslim Ummah are expected to be the focus of the talks between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.
From Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif would make stopover in London for two days.
The prime minister would meet his elder brother and president of PML-N Nawaz Sharif for consulta-tions on his visit to United Nations in New York and expected meeting with United States President Trump.
During the meeting between the two brothers, political and strategic matters are also likely to be dis-cussed.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif would depart for New York from London on 20th September and would arrive in United States on 21st September where he would stay for one week.
