Four DLA Piper lawyers named to Forbes 2025 Top 250 Lawyers in America list

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Partners Gwendolyn Keyes, Kristi Kung, Andrew Serwin, and Danny Tobey have been named to Forbes’ 2025 list of the Top 250 Lawyers in America. The list highlights lawyers “at the forefront of innovation, execution, and success.”

Keyes, Co-Chair of the firm’s Environmental practice, advises clients on complex litigation and regulatory matters, combining the trial skills learned from her 17-year career as a prosecutor with her service as a regional administrator and chief of staff at the US Environmental Protection Agency. She brings an in-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal governments and a deep understanding of environmental law.

As Chair of DLA Piper’s Healthcare Regulatory practice, Kung focuses on the representation of healthcare and life sciences clients in a range of regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters. Her practice includes legal advice and counseling with respect to federal and state fraud and abuse matters, billing and reimbursement, health information privacy and security, and digital health engagement.

Serwin is the US Chair and Global Co-Chair of the firm’s Data Protection, Privacy and Security practice and one of the pre-eminent privacy and security practitioners in the world. He has worked on some of the highest-profile matters in recent years and authored the premier global treatise on privacy and cybersecurity.

Tobey, Global Co-Chair and Americas Chair of DLA Piper’s AI and Data Analytics practice, advises many of the world’s most prominent companies, boards, and governments. With deep experience in emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, he advises clients throughout the technology lifecycle, from strategic planning and deployment to governance, optimization, and investigations and litigation defense should issues arise.
