Allison HomesA consultation has been launched over plans for more than 500 new homes on the site of a former waste tip near Bristol City’s stadium.
The 26-acre Longmoor site in Ashton Vale, worth an estimated £165m, was bought by developer Allison Homes at the end of July.
Plans for Longmoor Village include 510 homes, with the developer saying 30 per cent will be affordable housing.
Residents are being encouraged to attend a drop-in event on 19 September to view and comment on the proposals, ahead of a planning application.
The site, near Ashton Gate and Long Ashton Park & Ride, is the company’s largest acquisition to date in the South West.
But the developer said the proposed redevelopment is “in line with the outline planning permission granted by Bristol City Council in 2023”.
It also said it was “directly linked” to the wider sporting proposals at Ashton Gate and proceeds from the site would “help unlock funding” for the new sports centre.

A drop-in event will take place on19 September, between 15:00 and 19:30 GMT, at the Ashton Vale Community Centre.
