ISLAMABAD – Car buyers in Pakistan faced another blow as Honda Atlas jacked up prices for its City and Civic models from July 1, 2025. The new price hike comes in response to New Excise Value (NEV) levy introduced by government under new taxes.
As auto giant previously held off passing rising costs, this time Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan says it has no choice but to shift the burden in the wake of New Excise Value (NEV) levy under after Budget.
Honda City 1.2 MT price moved up by 47,000, and new price stands at 4,696,000, while City 1.2 CVT now costs 4,737,000, showing 48,000 increase. City Aspire CVT saw hike of 120,000, raising its price to 5,969,000.
Civic Oriel price increased by Rs175,000, reaching 8,834,000, while top of the line Civic Turbo RS crossed 10-million mark with a new price of 10,100,000, after 2lac jump.

New pricing applies to all invoices generated from July 1, 2025 onward. Customers with pending/back orders dated June 30 or earlier will also be charged based on new rates.
Any new bookings placed on or after July 1 will follow the revised prices. Customers will be liable for any future changes in duties, taxes, or levies imposed by the government.
Other car brands Suzuki, Kia, and Changan have also increased their prices after Budget 2025, citing hikes to rising duties, taxes, and cost pressures. As a result, owning a brand-new car in Pakistan is becoming increasingly challenging for the average buyer.
