“Art21 at the Movies” at Metrograph and MoMA Theater – Announcements

Art21 at the Movies is a signature public program that brings together artists, filmmakers, and art lovers for an unforgettable celebration of art and film. This biennial series features premieres, screenings, and programs that offer rare access to the creative process and the people behind the work.

This year’s edition explores the theme Between Worlds, inspired by the upcoming twelfth season of Art in the Twenty-First Century. Through films and conversations, we explore artists whose work inhabits the spaces between cultures, fictions, migrations, cosmologies, and more. Join Art21 alongside artists, filmmakers, and curators as we reflect on the stories and questions that emerge from these in-between spaces.
