Timberland Unveils ‘The Last of Us’ Boot

Timberland has teamed up with Sony Pictures Consumer Products to capitalize on the popularity of “The Last of Us” with a boot collaboration that reinterprets the Timberland 6-inch premium waterproof boot.

One of HBO‘s most popular titles lately, “The Last of Us” is a post-apocalyptic drama series adapted from the video game of the same name. The show has garnered several nominations and awards for its first two seasons, including accolades for stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, and the series has been renewed for a third season. Now there’s a shoe that embodies the resilience showcased in the gritty story.

Designed for durability and resistance, no matter the season or terrain, the Timberland x The Last of Us 6-inch premium waterproof boot is made with premium Timberland leather with seam-sealed construction and a rugged rubber lug outsole. Anti-fatigue footbeds and PrimaLoft insulation are included to offer comfort and warmth from day to night.

The boot features signature Timberland elements including hexagonal eyelets, four-row stitching and padded nubuck collar in addition to nods to “The Last of Us.” These references include an embossed Firefly logo, the name of the series embossed on the tongue and handtag, a crimson-hued “Look for the Light” footbed and a collectible Firefly coin pendant. The shoes also come in a custom “The Last of Us”-themed box.

As far as other recent collaborations from the brand, Timberland worked with Jacquemus to create a “banana yellow” boat shoe with a lug sole, which released in April, and Timberland Pro teamed with Pabst Blue Ribbon on a collection that launched in May and included two boot styles.

Timberland also recently revealed a campaign called “Advice of an Icon” spotlighting its Original yellow boot, with Spike Lee, Skepta and Kiko Mizuhara tapped as the faces of the campaign.
