King Charles, Prince William targeted by attempted ‘manufactured division’

King Charles and Prince William’s rift rumours are being shut down by palace insiders.

According to the Daily Mail, royal sources insist the monarch and the Prince of Wales remain “in absolute lockstep” despite speculation of tension following Charles’ recent meeting with his youngest son Prince Harry.

The chatter intensified after royal biographer Tina Brown suggested William’s “parenting dedication” might feel like a “tacit criticism” of his father’s own past shortcomings.

But those close to the father and son say talk of division is manufactured.

“It’s evident there’s an attempt to manufacture division between them, when in reality, no such rift exists,” one insider said. “Their relationship is as strong as ever… they are united in their vision for the role of the Royal Family.”

While William and Charles have clashed at times, particularly over professional differences, their shared priorities — conservation, the environment, the military, and social causes — keep them aligned.

“Like many father-son relationships, there are occasional tensions,” another source admitted. “But ultimately they have the same goal: to make life better for the people of this country.”

William is currently in Balmoral, where he is expected to spend quality one-on-one time with his father for a few days.
