I have seen many transitions during my career. From the early days, when a 640Kb chip felt like abundance, to now, when silicon the size of an atom can handle petabytes of data. Now, with the unprecedented rise of AI, I believe we’re on the brink of the biggest disruption since the internet itself.
The investments are staggering, and numbers don’t lie. We used to talk about millions, then billions. Today, trillions are in play. Compute is being refreshed. Architecture is being simplified. Roles across industries are being reimagined through AI. McKinsey estimates that generative AI could add between $2.6 trillion and $4.4 trillion annually to the global economy, more than the GDP of the United Kingdom. That scale is hard to ignore. The pace of change can feel overwhelming, but navigating this new era demands more than just reacting to the latest trends.
