Jon Rahm has been a buzzsaw in Foursomes play during his career, and that’s continued at the 2025 Ryder Cup… from all sorts of lies.
Rahm, on the par-3, 200-yard 8th hole at Bethpage Black, was left with a tricky lie on the edge of greenside bunker after Tyrrell Hatton’s tee shot in their match against Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele, the latter of which chipped to tap-in range for par. That forced Rahm to play aggressive and it yielded perhaps one of the most incredible chip shots you’ll see all day:
Commentator Jamie Spence called it “best chip I’ve ever seen, ever.”
“I just can’t get over that,” he continued, “what a shot from Jon Rahm. Difficulty level 100/10”. .
The Saturday morning Foursomes are well underway, and Rahm’s match is the RyderCup.com Featured Group. You can also follow along with live scoring.
