Leading global law firm Baker McKenzie has advised Natura, the Brazilian beauty and personal care multinational, on the sale of Avon International’s operations in Central America and the Dominican Republic. The sale sees the Avon business in Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Honduras, El Salvador, and the Dominican Republic (Avon CARD) transfer to Grupo PDC, the consumer goods company with presence in Central America and Peru. As part of the agreement, Natura will act as licensor of the Avon brand in the territories, and as supplier of the finished products, which will continue to be marketed in the countries. The sale is aligned with Natura’s announced corporate simplification strategy, launched in 2022. Avon is the multinational beauty company, platformed as a global movement for women, embracing their power.
