NBA 2K26 Summer League: Kolek, Beauchamp lead Knicks past Nets

LAS VEGAS — The New York Knicks defeated the Brooklyn Nets 97-93 in the NBA 2K26 Summer League at Cox Pavilion on Tuesday.

There were 10 ties and 10 lead changes through the opening 28 minutes of this game, with neither team leading by more than five points. With that said, the Knicks ripped off a 7-0 run near the end of the third quarter, outscoring the Nets in that frame, 28-21. That allowed New York to maintain the lead for the final 15 minutes, getting their lead up to 13 points at times. The Knicks shot 44% from the field, 26% from 3-point range and 83% from the free-throw line while holding the Nets to 44% from the field, 20% from long range and 69% from the charity stripe. NY also out-assisted Brooklyn 21-13.

The Knicks (1-2) were led by Tyler Kolek, who had 25 points, four assists and four steals. MarJon Beauchamp provided 25 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals. Anton Watson led the bench with 12 points and three rebounds.

The Nets (0-3) were led by Drew Timme, who tallied 24 points, 10 rebounds and four assists. Caleb Daniels compiled 16 points, nine rebounds, two assists and two steals. Ben Saraf had 11 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals, while Quincy Olivari led the bench with 16 points, two rebounds and two steals.

On deck for Brooklyn is a matchup with the Orlando Magic on Wednesday. As for New York, they play the Indiana Pacers on Thursday for their next outing.
