Publicly traded esports and gaming company GameSquare (NASDAQ: GAME) is continuing its partnership with Dairy MAX to launch new UEFN (Unreal Engine for Fortnite) content in Fortnite with a project called Fortnite Diner Tycoon.
Fortnite Diner Tycoon is described as a fully custom game mode within Dairy MAX’s Level Unlocked in Fortnite and was developed in collaboration with GameSquare subsidiaries ZONED and Moonlight Studios. Level Unlocked is the digital-first brand designed by Dairy MAX which aims to promote dairy products such as milk and cheese to young people throughout the United States.
The new game mode allows players to build a diner, master recipes, upgrade their kitchens, hire cooks, and expand their restaurant while utilizing dairy products. This week’s announcement is a continuation of the 2024 release of Fortnite’s Farm Tycoon created by Zoned. Farm Tycoon encouraged players to grow and manage farms, with an emphasis on dairy products.
Dairy MAX is a non-profit, regional dairy council representing more than 900 dairy farmers and serving communities in Colorado, southwest Kansas, Louisiana, Montana, New Mexico, western Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming. Dairy MAX began its relationship with GameSquare in 2021 and has been collaborating with the company on various initiatives and campaigns ever since.
Dairy products are well represented in the gaming industry; in addition to Dairy MAX, MilkPEP is the key partner of the all women’s Fortnite competition, The Milk Cup. MilkPEP, or the “Milk Processor Education Program” is an organization funded by America’s milk companies and is “dedicated to educating consumers and increasing the consumption of fluid milk” through national and international campaigns like the “Gonna Need Milk” marketing initiative.
